According to Mundo Deportivo, in addition to the documents exchanged between La Liga and the Spanish Football Players Association (AFE), the Spanish Sports Commission (CSD) also had written communication with the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to explain to the players information about holding La Liga overseas matches in Miami.
On October 6, CSD sent a document to RFEF requesting information about holding La Liga overseas games in Miami. Recently, the Football Association responded to the government’s document and raised two questions. On the one hand, they asked the CSD to inform them of the administrative measures they planned to take. Because, according to current Spanish sports laws, the government sports bodies have no jurisdiction over this match, including the Sports Code. In addition, RFEF also requested that the CSD inform Real Madrid of the contents of the documents submitted to it against the match. On August 12, Los Blancos issued a statement clearly stating their opposition to the match and asking the CSD not to sanction the match without unanimous consent.
