Italian media calcioefinanza reported that the Milan court rejected the request to suspend the sale of the San Siro Stadium, giving Inter Milan and AC Milan time to complete the transaction before the hearing on November 11.
The Administrative Tribunal of Lombardy rejected a request by the Green San Siro Association and more than a hundred local residents to urgently suspend the Milan City Council's resolution on the sale of the San Siro Stadium to Inter Milan and AC Milan. These residents had previously submitted an appeal to prevent the demolition of the Meazza Stadium.
The court has scheduled a hearing for November 11. Prior to that, the two clubs can continue to advance the transaction because the ruling stated that "contrary to what was stated in the application for emergency unilateral preventive measures in the new grounds, there is no such serious and imminent damage that it cannot wait for the collegial panel to review the pre-emptive measures." "In addition, judging from the impending resolution and the possible signing of the sales contract, it does not constitute current damage to the specific interests represented by the complainants, who claim to have suffered losses due to urban construction and building renovations and work that has not yet been implemented immediately."
