ESPN Brazil reported that Real Madrid star Vinicius' contract renewal has been put on hold, mainly because Vinicius's team does not meet the salary offered by Real Madrid.
Vinitius' current annual after-tax salary is 17 million euros, and Real Madrid has offered him a fixed after-tax salary of 20 million, but his team believes that this is not enough and feels it is "unreasonable" to accept the salary. What they want is a fixed salary of 20 million euros, plus a bonus of 10 million euros.
