Dortmond CEO Vatsk recently talked about the financial situation facing European football and the impact of capital from Gulf countries.
Watzker said: "It is imperative to implement a salary cap system. Without this measure, the situation will become more out of control. Sooner or later, the English team will realize this. As far as I know, despite the huge budget of Premier League teams, almost no club can make a profit.
"We cannot deceive ourselves. If the large German DAX companies are willing to let Saudi Arabia participate in capital increase, will the situation be better than in reality? But at least the industry we are in is very willing to accept funding from Gulf countries. โ
