According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the new stadium jointly built by Milan and Inter Milan will reproduce the 37-degree tilt angle of the stands of the San Siro Stadium.

When people come to the San Siro Stadium for the first time, they are not used to the tilt angle of the stands, because the angle of the stands at San Siro reaches 37 degrees, so it looks very steep and can even make people feel dizzy. Now the Milan City Council has previously agreed to sell San Siro and the surrounding area to Milan and Inter Milan. The two clubs will build a new stadium and later demolish the San Siro stadium, leaving only part of the stands as a museum. "Gazzetta dello Sport" said that when building the new stadium, the Milan duo will also strive to reproduce the same tilt angle of the stands at the San Siro Stadium.

In the descriptive document of the new stadium project design, it is written: "The tilt angle of the stands is designed to reproduce the atmosphere of San Siro." And specifically pointed out a number, that is, 37 degrees. The tilt angle of the third-level stands of the San Siro Stadium is 37 degrees, and the tilt angle of the South Stand of Dortmund's home stadium, the most famous stand in Europe, is also 37 degrees. Although the inclination angle of the stadium stands recommended by FIFA in recent years is 34 degrees, the newly built stadium stands of the Milan duo also have an inclination angle of 37 degrees, which can retain the atmosphere similar to San Siro to the maximum extent.

In addition, "Gazzetta dello Sport" also revealed that the design of the new stadium stands highlights the stands on both sides of the stadium, minimizing obstacles while complying with control and safety standards. The stands ensure excellent visibility, minimizing the need for seats with restricted views. The distance between the audience and the stadium has also been minimized, providing a compact and optimized design, which enhances the sound propagation effect and atmosphere in various areas of the stands, bringing a better viewing experience.

This design also allows the new stadium to host not only sports competitions, but also concerts. The new stadium is expected to be completed in six years. After it is put into use, it is planned to hold 20 concerts every year, including 12 international concerts and 8 domestic concerts.

Finally, "Gazzetta dello Sport" emphasized that Milan and Inter Milan must complete the acquisition procedures before November 10. If the San Siro Stadium is still owned by the government on that day, the protection order of the Milan Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Bureau on the second-tier San Siro stand will come into effect, and the San Siro Stadium will not be demolished by then. Both clubs are currently working on raising funds and the plan is to have everything completed by the end of this month.
