According to Desky Sky reporter Philipp Hinze, Leipzig hopes to introduce Brazilian attacker Romulo and keep the transfer fee below 20 million euros.
Philipp Hinze wrote on social media: "Leipzig has reached an oral agreement with Romulo, and Goztabi's recent asking price is between 25 million and 30 million euros. However, Leipzig hopes to keep the transfer fee below 20 million euros."
"However, Leipzig needs to sell offensive players first because the team's current lineup is too large. Werner and Silva are still likely to leave, and the future of Sesco is still unclear. Romulo's transfer is being prepared behind the scenes, and this Brazilian player has also attracted interest in the Premier League."
Romulo was born on February 8, 2002 and plays as a striker. In the 2024-25 season, he represented Turkish club Goztabi in 34 games in various competitions, scoring 17 goals and giving 10 assists. His existing contract will be until June 30, 2028.
