Parma officially announced the signing of free agent Guaita, and the two parties have signed a contract until the end of this season. Due to a hand injury, Parma's main goalkeeper Suzuki Ayen underwent surgery. He is expected to be sidelined for 3 months.
Guaita was born in 1987. He is a player trained by the Valencia Youth Academy. He made his debut in the Europa League in October 2008. In 2014, Guaita switched to Getafe and played until 2018. Subsequently, he joined Crystal Palace and played until 2023, where he played a total of 154 games. In 2023, he returned to Spain to join Celta Vigo.
