According to reporter Tom Bogert, DePaul's way to transfer to Miami International is to rent + choose to buy out.
Tom Bogert revealed that Atletico Madrid midfielder De Paul will join Miami International as a TAM (an additional salary budget other than designated players) instead of DP (a designated player not subject to salary cap restrictions).
DePaul will join Miami International on loan, with the loan period until winter, and the agreement includes a buyout clause of about 15 million euros. After Miami International activates the buyout clause, he will become a DP player, and the deal has been finalized.
