Redick: I have thought about the running-in issue after James comes back. It’s a good time to have a game next week.

Today, the Lakers defeated the Pelicans 118-104 away in the NBA Cup. Before the game, Lakers head coach Redick accepted an interview and talked about forward James' upcoming comeback.

Redick said when talking about the impact of James' return on the team: "I have definitely thought about this issue. In fact, next week is a good evaluation time for all of us, we can determine the current state and clarify where we need to improve. There is only one week. It’s rare that you have a game, so I’ll think about it more then, but usually when you play every other day, you use the time until 3 a.m. to review the game you just played, and then use the time until 3 a.m. the next day to prepare for the next game.”
