Today, Clippers player Derrick Jones Jr. talked about whether to start in an interview.

"Whatever the team needs me to do (I do it), that's always been my mantra. That's the type of player I am and always will be, whether it's starting, playing 36 minutes, 48 minutes, 20 minutes, 15 minutes - it doesn't matter. I just want to go out there and make an impact and help. The team wins. My role will not change much whether I start or not. My job is always to guard the opponent's strongest offensive player and not be afraid to take shots. So why don't I take shots?
