. I grew up in that environment, so I don't remember being that difficult. I know it might be a little harder for my parents. But for me that's the ordinary day. All my friends come from the same community and we are always inseparable. And, you know? That's my normal life. ”

What does your mother mean to you?

Rashford: "A very important person." I will never be able to repay what she gave to me and my brothers. She knew how grateful and happy we were, which made me very happy. ”

She once said to you, “Nothing is free.”

Rashford: “She is right. Nothing in life is free. There is always a price, and when I say the price, people think of money. But every decision you make will always have a subsequent impact. You have to think carefully and confidently to make a big decision because you may not have a second chance. ”

For many years, you have been helping children in trouble in England. Helping others is one of your goals in life?

Rashford: "I strive to improve on the basis they already have. To me, children are the future of the country and the future of the world. Therefore, it is our responsibility as adults to protect them and give them the opportunity to be the best of themselves. ”

You are a very thoughtful person in life and in football. Do you think it is helpful or harmful to you as a football player? Because sometimes it is worse to think too much on the court…

Rashford: “I think it depends on the players. I remember when I was very young, I usually didn’t think too much. But when I was 15 or 16, I started to think more deeply about the details, which helped me understand what the defense was thinking. So this approach works for me, but I don't think it's the way to everyone. ”

When you were a child and were still at Manchester United Youth Training Academy, Rooney was next to him and everyone asked him to take a photo. But you said to your brother: "I don't want to take a photo, because I will play football with him in the future." Have you maintained this confidence throughout your career? Where did it come from?

Rashford: "I think confidence comes from the heart. Not only in football, I hope to be confident in life, but also I always try to imagine the best results in my mind. This has been like this since childhood. I don't know if I was too confident when I said that, or just having a determination to believe that I could play with one of my favorite players. So yes, maybe it's confidence. Or just a dream. ”
