According to the Spanish media "Marca", Seattle Gulf player Minugu is blind and will face Atletico Madrid as a member of the team.
Minugu talked about blindness in his left eye: "That was one of my most difficult moments. At that time, I had the opportunity to fight for a first-team contract. Later, I didn't know what happened. During training, my eyes suddenly had problems and I had to undergo surgery."
And he finally succeeded. In 2024, Minugu signed a contract with the team until 2028. He also made his debut in the American League, making 35 appearances so far, contributing 1 goal and 5 assists.
"This doesn't affect me at all. My left eye cannot see, but I'm still training. I only have one eye, but I can do better than people with two eyes - that's my mindset." He stressed. "My dream is to stand on the highest level of stage. Although the process is not easy, I worked hard and realized it."
