Former Bayern coach Magat said in an interview with n-tv that he had concerns about Bayern's financial problems.
Magat said: "I think that due to too many billionaires' participation, it ended up being reasonable for the top players. But for many other players, the price has gone out of control and they are seriously overvalued. It's a warning, which makes me worry about Bayern's financial problems. Bayern Munich has never had financial problems in the past 25 to 30 years. I think the last time there was a financial problem was in the mid-80s. But now Bayern is starting to talk about money, and for me, it's a warning to the league."
Regarding the competitiveness of Bundesliga teams in Europe, Magat said: "So it's very difficult to get into the top European ranks because there are too many billionaires' funds there. So I don't think other Bundesliga teams will play an important role in the international arena in the next three to five years."
