Kane: Contract extension negotiations may take place next year. Kompany’s contract extension is good news

In the third round of the Champions League, Bayern defeated Brugge 4-0. Kane scored his 20th goal of the season.

Kane will transfer from Tottenham in the summer of 2023 for nearly 100 million euros. Recently, he once again expressed his desire to stay at Bayern in the long term. Kane once again spoke about a possible contract extension and revealed the timetable for negotiations.

Kane said: "These negotiations will not take place next month, but they may take place in the new year. We will discuss this issue at that time. We are in a good position now and I feel good. We are not impatient and I think the club is not impatient."

Kane is very happy with the renewal of coach Kompany. Kompany signed a new contract with the club until 2029 last Tuesday.

Kane said: "Kopany is an important part of the club and a big reason why I like it here. His contract extension is good news. Kompany is important and it is great to know that he has such a long contract now. When we start negotiations, we will see what happens."

Board chairman Drayson also said a few days ago that they will discuss his future with Kane at the "appropriate time". Dressen said: "It's a joy, really a joy! If someone told us that Kane would get better every season, we might pay more transfer fees."
