Today Atletico Madrid officially announced that it would renew its contract with 34-year-old Griezmann until 2027.
In 2019, Griezmann joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid with a transfer fee of 120 million euros. Griezmann played a total of 102 games for Barcelona, contributing 35 goals and 17 assists. He returned to Atletico Madrid on loan in 2021, with a loan fee of 10 million euros in two years. In 2023, Atletico Madrid spent 22 million euros to sign back to Griezmann.
