Will Richard is the 56th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Normally, it is difficult for the 56th overall pick to make a difference, but Richard became a surprise.
After helping the University of Florida win the NCAA championship, Richard quickly established a foothold in the NBA.
Despite the fierce competition in the Warriors' rotation, Richard earned playing time with his outstanding performance. He makes good decisions on offense, plays great defense, and was even more impressive in his first start.
Richard scored 30 points against the Kings, and his playing time will only increase as the season progresses. He currently averages 17.2 minutes per game.
In contrast, Browne was selected with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 draft and currently averages only 12 minutes of playing time per game.
