Today is the 40th birthday of former NBA star Aldridge, let's wish him a happy birthday.
Lamarcus Aldridge, born on July 19, 1985 in Dallas, Texas, USA, was selected by the Bulls as the second place in the 2006 NBA draft and was then traded to the Trail Blazers. Aldridge joined the Spurs in July 2015 and the Nets in March 2021. Aldridge was selected into the second team of the NBA All-Series team twice in his career, 3 times in the NBA All-Series team three times, and 7 times in the All-Star team.
On April 15, 2021, Aldridge announced his retirement on his personal social media due to heart problems. On September 4 of the same year, he returned to the Nets after obtaining permission from the doctor. On April 1, 2023, Aldridge officially announced his retirement.
Aldridge played 1,076 games in his career, scoring a total of 20,558 points, averaging 19.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 blocks per game, shooting percentage of 49.3%, and free throw percentage of 81.3%.
