Today, the 2008 American Men's Basketball Team Redemption was officially inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame. Captain Kidd was interviewed.
Speaking of his role in the team, he said: "I have always been honored to be able to play for the country, but more importantly, I can give back to young players and stay with these people. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life. I often chat with Paul and Deron because I know I am passing the torch, or Gatorade, passing on what I learned from Gary Payton and Stockton to them. Now they have become Hall of Fame members, and they may stand here in the future."
