Suns new player Jaylen Green watched the team's summer league today. In an interview with the Houston Chronicle, he said that he was not surprised that the Rockets were trading himself.
"Yes, I have a hunch that they have been trying to trade me since last season," Jaylen Green said. "I wasn't angry, (they) are also for the better of the team. I know that after all, this is a business, I can't control it, what should happen will happen, and in the end I still have a chance to play."
Green revealed that he learned about the deal through the call of Rockets general manager Stone, and his agent later informed him.
"I love Houston, I love Houston." Jaylen Green added.
