According to Spanish Sel Radio, the Saudi League team has ruled out the possibility of signing Vinicius this summer.
Vinitius' existing contract with Real Madrid will expire in the summer of 2027, and rumors about his future are getting worse as negotiations on renewal of the contract have stalled. At the end of last year, Saudi Arabia had contacted the player's agent and proposed a transfer offer of about 300 million euros, and expressed its willingness to provide players with an annual salary of 200 million euros per year for five years.
However, the Saudi league spending this summer is no more than in previous years. Omar Ruben, CEO of sports company AKHS, believes that the reason may be that next year's World Cup is coming, and players want to ensure the pace of the game rather than pursue money. So, this summer, the Saudi team will not sign Vinicius and will not offer him any offer.
According to Sel Radio, Vinicius's close friends revealed that the players have always insisted that they hope to get an annual salary of 25 million euros in Real Madrid, regardless of the salary level of other people in the team. In addition, his cronies said that Real Madrid's annual salary offer of 20 million euros was "absurd".
This also caused Vinicius' contract renewal to stagnate. He will remain in Real Madrid in the short term, and he is expected to return to the team to train and prepare for the game.
