"Le Marca" reported that the Barcelona club is currently dealing with multiple transfers. While the recruitment work is basically ready, the club is also actively promoting the players' departure.
Last week, the club officially announced the joining of Joan Garcia, and is stepping up the finalization of Nico Williams' transfer, and Rooney Badge's signing is also close. As new players are in place one after another, the club still needs to clean up some players. Lenglet and Valle have determined the future, and the current focus is on four players: Fati, Pablo Torre, Romeu and Christensen, who may leave the team.
The fastest progress is Fati's transfer, and Laporta said on Wednesday afternoon that if nothing unexpected happens, the winger will be confirmed to join Monaco this week. It is reported that the player arrived in Monaco on Thursday night, but the official announcement is expected to be released on Monday. This will be Fati's second loan out in three years, but he may complete a contract renewal with Barcelona before that. In Monaco, he is eager to get the chance to play that he didn't get under Frick last season.
Another focus player is Pablo Torre, the midfielder also lacked playing time last season, and leaving the team this summer is a foregone conclusion and progress is progressing rapidly. Barcelona is negotiating with Mallorca, considering that the player contract expires in June next year, it is likely to be a permanent transfer this time, but the possibility of Barcelona retaining future buyback terms is not ruled out.
Romeu is in a similar situation to Torre. The youth training midfielder is not in Frick's plan and his contract will also expire in June next year, so his departure will be permanent. He was loaned to Girona last season.
Christensen is most likely to leave the team in terms of defensive players cleaning. Currently, Barcelona has five central defenders in the team, and sports director Deco recently made it clear that one person needs to be cut.
Other transfer negotiations such as Paul Victor or some goalkeepers are also underway, but the urgency and progress are not as good as those mentioned above.
