According to NL Times, Juventus former player Ihatarun was sentenced to 60 hours of community service for domestic violence.

Mohamed Ikhatalen was sentenced to 60 hours of community service for attacking her ex-girlfriend and attempting to carry out threats. The Dutch Procuratorate released the verdict on Tuesday, which was made at a May 19 hearing.

According to the procuratorate, 23-year-old Ihatarun confessed to the two charges at the hearing and expressed regret for his actions. The prosecutor said that the attempted threat occurred on October 7, 2022 and was jointly carried out with another suspect. It is reported that during the investigation of a case that has nothing to do with him, the police obtained relevant evidence by listening to telephone calls.

During the sentencing, the prosecution considered that the player who played for Ajax, Eindhoven and Juventus had no similar criminal record before, and the incident occurred for a long time. The Procuratorate also noted that Ihatarun sought professional help during this period and had no further contact with the police or other authorities since the incident. The

attack occurred several months later on February 11, 2023, when the player beat his girlfriend several times. Ihatarun did not appeal the judgment, so the judgment was final.

Ihatarun played for Valvek last season. As the team was relegated from the Eredivisie, the midfielder announced that he would look for a new owner. When he made his mark in Eindhoven in 2018, the midfielder was once regarded as one of the most talented new stars in the Netherlands. In 2021, he transferred to Juventus in Serie A, but failed to get a chance to play, and his career immediately took a sharp turn.
